Media and Motivation as Facility to Study in State Islamic of University

There are many university in Makassar was famous like State  Islamic University of Alauddin Makassar, as I know that it is one of the State University in Makassar have many media and facilities. Of course, because of University is the highest school compared to other schools. Because all of the core subjects at the university. Besides that  the university also provides many facility form of media and other means so that the support of education will be easier. As a student should be able to use the media and the existing facilities as well as possible, There are many media that have been provided by various media that campus as provided by state Islamic universities to students, such as fasility  room is quite spacious and fitted with an LCD and its Internet network. So that students can use it with the best possible

but other than that motivation is also needed to support education in learning, so that the media and the motivation is needed as a means of education to get success.

Many people think that learning can only be done only in school or university on the bench, but learning is something that never left our lives as social beings, to learn the general shape and are broad so that learning can happen, when, who and anywhere. Although the room was not closed, the room is formal and the room air-conditioned but learning can occur anytime and anywhere. I do not agree with the statement, because I think people can learn anywhere depending on what and how forms of  learning, and people learn that knows no limits of time parents and children easy. As Hyland, (2000) Said that if Learning is a very complex process occurs on each of each person throughout his life. Learning process that occurs because the interaction between a person and the environment. therefore, learning can occur anytime and anywhere.

In the process of learning or teaching is closely associated with the media and infrastructure. Because the media as a means of communication is very important fight for the achievement of educational goals and learning objectives are said by Hamalik (1986), where he saw that the communication link will run smoothly with maximum results when using a tool called a medium of communication. Arsyad, (1997). Besides that the media is not only required by a student in supporting education but motivation is also needed. Media can be important as a means of war but without motivation in learning that supports it will not work as expected.  According to Am Sardiman that students, who have strong motivation, will have a lot of energy to perform learning activities and on learning that the outcome will be optimal if there is proper motivation, Sardiman (2003).

Because of the motivation is something that occurs in humans as a form of encouragement or support for doing a good thing. So with the motivation that can foster self-confidence to be able to create such a good thing. Especially in the learning process, motivation could serve as a key to open our minds. According to  Robert Gilman, Good motivation is thus the key to faster, better integrated, better used, and more easily recalled learning, and the essential conditions for effective motivation are free choice, self-confidence and trust.so the media and the motivation that is needed to support education in the lessons, but besides that we also often get obstacles or difficulties in learn,

According to  Abdurahman, (2003) that it is influenced by two factors: internal factors and external factors. The main causes of learning difficulties is an internal factor because the result of genetic factors, brain injury or due to lack of oxygen, whereas the main cause of learning problems are external factors, in the form of false teaching strategies, learning activities that refineries do not generate the motivation to learn.

As a conclusion, in supporting education even though the media and the means exist but without the motivation that supports all things do not work as expected. Even if we force ourselves to learn and keep learning while there is no form of support from within us our efforts will culminate quasi futile. So the motivation is also needed in education as a means of support of the learning process so that the achievement of educational goals. Therefore, the media, means and motivation that has ties and relationships in support of a success.
